This is the story:
A rich man fired the manager of his property because he heard that the manager was stealing from him. He told him to gather the records and give an account.
Before the manager left his office, he called all the rich man's debtors to him and told them that their debts had been reduced, some by 20%, some by 50%
The manager made these people so happy by this dishonest task that they could not possibly refuse to help the manager after he looses his job.
The rich man did not like what the manager did; but he could not help but admire the managers quick-thinking and speedy actions that would insure the manager's survival.
